7 Things I learned about Self-Care in 2018 & Why I Didn't Set any Resolutions for this Year.

Hey Flower Tribe,
Before we discuss my lack of New Year Resolutions, I want to let you in on a little secret, our clothing brand is running a sale where you can receive 10% off your entire purchase from our "Self-Care" collection when you use the code selfcare2019. Click here to see what we have for sale in our store.
Now that's out of the way, I have to give you the tea about my New Year Resolutions or lack thereof.
I decided not to set a "new" resolution because this year I am continuing the work I already started! There is nothing new about this work, it is a commitment to self. In 2018, we being my daughters and myself , launched our OneSun3Flowers business with a focus on practicing self-love, self-care and wellness with women of all ages. The launch of our business was more than just a way to create an additional source of income. We were committed to teaching and learning new ways to connect with ourselves. As a result, in 2019, our company as well as ourselves will be continuing the journey we began in 2018.
I mentioned on our Instagram account that there are four opportunities to reset & set goals for yourself.
In 2018, I learned some very important things about self-care. Below are 7 things that I learned about self-care last year.
7 Things I learned about Self-Care in 2018:
1. Self-Care isn't isn't an excuse to self-sabotage.
2. It's important to be selfish.
3. Self-Talk is Real Talk. It is important to be mindful of how you speak to yourself.
4. Healing is our own work and is not the responsibility of others.
5. Being a superwoman is not always a good thing.
6. It is important to say, no.
7. Setting a morning routine is an important part of self-care.
Feel free to share anything that you learned about self-care in 2018 and remember anytime is the right time to begin your journey of self-care and self-love!
Love,
